Moti Dungri Temple :
Moti Dungri temple is situated at the bottom of Moti Dungri Hill (Hill of Pearls), Jaipur, Rajasthan. This temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesh Ji. This temple was built under the supervision of Seth Jai Ram Paliwal in 1761.
Story of Moti Dungri Mandir:
Moti Dungri temple jaipur According to the senior citizens and priests of the temple, the king of Mewar was carrying this huge idol of Lord Ganesh Ji in a bullock cart. He was supposed to build a temple at the site wherever the bullock cart stops for the first time. And then the cart stopped close to Moti Dungri and the temple was built there. A business man known as Seth Jai Ram Paliwal took the supervision of the temple construction under the guidance of the chief priest Shiv Narain Ji.
Architecture of Moti Dungri mandir :
The layout and structure of Moti Dungri is built in the Nagara style and is based on the model of Scottish castle. There are three entrance gates and few steps at the front. It was built using limestone and marble and construction work was completed in just 4 months.
